CANVAS & LAYERED PAPER

As part of an initiative to beautify utility cabinets through public art in the town of Fairfield, Connecticut, the Fairfield Arts Commission hosted an open call for local artists. These metal utility boxes, prominently located throughout town, provide an ideal canvas for public art and help create a more vibrant and visually engaging streetscape.

Each design was developed around a specific provided theme and created using vector artwork to ensure it could be properly produced for large-scale application.

The selected utility boxes are scheduled to be professionally wrapped in Spring 2026!
